LADDER RULES

Registration

• Opens at a specified date & time on this website. 
• Open to Pickleball Club members of the specified skill level.
• Limited to 12 doubles teams on a first come-first served basis (+ waitlist).
• You need to sign up with a partner + assign one phone number for each team for texting results & receiving new rankings. Note: Only one person per team needs to sign up.

Play

• Play begins on a specified date.
• Play one best-of-3-games match per week for 8 weeks.
• The playing week starts on Friday morning and ends Wednesday evening.
• Each team schedules its own matches and is responsible for any  substitutions that may be needed.
• Substitutes must be Club members and rated at the same skill level. Please note: If a team uses a substitute, that substitute cannot sub for another team at  a later date. In other words, if Team A gets John Doe to sub, he cannot then sub for Team B another week. 

Match results & next opponents

• Text results by Thursday noon to 412-443-3232.
• The next opponents will be texted to you by Thursday evening.
• Write your match date/time on the board at the courts - people like to watch.

Moving up & down the ladder

• Each week the match winners move up a rung, the losers move down a rung.
• The team on the top rung at the end of 8 weeks is the winner.
