We held the Pickleball Club's first annual fundraiser for charity on June 8 and we raised $4,050 for the Orange County Fire Authority Benevolent Association! The OCFABA provides physical, financial, and emotional support to its members and their families during times of need.
Our biggest thanks go to Sheryl Strich who led our charity effort and the committees of members who all made the event possible.
About a hundred people participated in the Carnival in Clubhouse One - a fun evening of horse racing, darts, football toss, spoon race, fortune telling, raffles, pizza, and more. Our thanks to all the volunteers who made the the event fun and run smoothly, and to Tom Nee for some great MC'ing. We were honored to have Marc Hansen, President of the OCFABA and an active firefighter, say a few words.
